The reflexive получа́ться / получи́ться means “to work out, to turn out”, and it is impersonal: получа́ется, получи́лось, не получа́ется.

Typical mistakes

Я не получа́ю э́то де́лать.

У меня́ не получа́ется.

The idiom is impersonal with у + genitive.

Я получи́ть письмо́.

Я получи́л письмо́.

The infinitive cannot be the main verb.
