The дава́й pattern

Дава́й (informal) and дава́йте (polite or plural) build a suggestion two ways: with a perfective “we” form — дава́й пойдём, дава́й встре́тимся — or with an imperfective infinitive — дава́й не теря́ться, дава́йте начина́ть.

Russian sign-offs

In messages: до свя́зи (talk later), обнима́ю (hugs), целу́ю (kisses, between family and close friends). С уваже́нием is the formal “yours sincerely” for letters and email.
