Quick answer
Весь = all of one thing (agrees with it), всё = everything, все = everyone. Всё takes a singular verb, все a plural one.
The forms
| Form | Used with | Example |
|---|---|---|
| весь | masculine noun | весь день — all day |
| вся | feminine noun | вся семья́ — the whole family |
| всё | neuter noun, or “everything” | всё вре́мя — all the time; Всё хорошо́. |
| все | plural noun, or “everyone” | все лю́ди; Все зна́ют. |
Declined: всего́, всему́, всем, обо всём for the singular and всех, всем, все́ми, обо всех for the plural.
всё or все?
The two words differ by one dot on the ё, and Russian print usually omits it — so you will see все where всё is meant and have to judge from the verb. Davaigo always writes the ё.
